Artist-run galleries are uniquely situated within communities, often acting as intermediaries between the neighborhood and the larger art world. To better understand how these spaces work and function with the members of their respective communities, we plan to bring them together to discuss the strategies and methods they employ, to the benefit of artist-run spaces in Dayton, OH, and the region at large.
